The State Ethnographical Museum à Varsovie was established in 1888 and is the oldest institution of that type en Pologne. The Museum collects Polish, European and non-European traditional art. Currently, including deposits, it has over 76 000 items, of which 52 000 is Polish and European part, and approximately 22 000 - non-European. Polish collection is reflected by deposits representative for most important parts of Polish traditional art. The Museum has items originating from almost all over Europe, Africa Americas, Australia and Oceania. |

The Historical Museum of Varsovie is situated opposite Swietojanska Street. This visit is necessary if you really want to know more about the city.
